We are a vibrant coastal kura in the heart of Maketu, Te Arawa. Our learning is grounded in strong relationships, high expectations and our culture and environment.
We offer English Medium and Māori Medium learning pathways and a local curriculum that connects our tamariki to the stories, people and places of Maketu.

A friendly reminder our Kura Gates open at 8:30am each day.
Please ensure our Funky Fun year 3 and 4 tamariki arrive at kura before the first bell at 8:50am
8:50 am: We will meet in our Hui room to Karakia and follow up on Te Whiringa Tika and kura expectations for EOTC.
We will check the tamariki have sneakers, snacks, water bottle and a positive attitude.
KA PAI KAI sandwiches are provided for tomorrow.
9am - Group will depart to Mercury Arena
2:30pm - Return to Kura

Tēna Koutou te whānau
We have our junior school Funky Fun days approaching. Year 1|2 this Thursday 13th August and Year 3|4 the following week on 20th August.
Please can you ensure you give permission for you child to travel to Mercury Arena for these days.
Unfortunately we cannot transport your child if we do NOT receive parent permission.
Please ensure your child has a water bottle, snacks and covered in shoes.
